Assists Maintenance Mechanic (any industry) 638.281-014 in
repairing and maintianing machinery and mechanical equipment:
Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working
areas. Holds scaffolding members in place or tightens blots to
erect working platforms about machines. Pulls handles to raise
materials and tools to working levels. Loosens bolts to
dismantle machinery.
Drills and breaks up concrete, usnig
jackhammer.
Digs trenches for machinery foundations. Miexs and
pours concrete for foundations. Cleans machines with sandpaper,
solvent, and wiipng rags to prepare surfaces for painting. Oils
and gresaes machines. Performs other duties as desrcibed under
Helper (any industry) Master Title.
